Fall 2022 - Spring 2023

MAY SERIES

The first verse in Galatians chapter 5, is not only the bottomline of what Paul is communicating in the book of Galatians to people at that time, but also a summary of the christian walk. This verse includes 3 key components - the paramount truth that Christ has come to set captives FREE for freedoms sake, the hope for believers to stand firm in the freedom granted by Christ, and the instruction to not go back to the life of slavery they were freed from!

Week 2 - May 10th

Week 1 - May 3rd

APRIL SERIES

Something that every person on earth comes to understand is that life is bound to include seasons of suffering. Those who put their trust in God are not exempt from this reality but are given the tools necessary to handle suffering. Believers are equipped to suffer in safety, joy, and hope because of who our God is! As we study Psalm 23 throughout April, we hope to teach students that no matter what they go through in this life, God can be trusted in every season.

MARCH SERIES

Over the next two months we will open up the pages of the book of Daniel. As we study this old testament book we will see that, despite our circumstances, if we fully surrender our lives to God, (rm 12:1-2) we will see his favor for our future. Throughout the next month we will explain what favor is and how our hope in God will help grow our faith.

FEBRUARY SERIES

The goal of this series is to speak truth into a generation that is celebrating sin. We want to help our students understand that sin blurs and distorts God’s design. We want to reclaim God’s perfect design. We hope to help students see the truth about God’s roles for males and females. This means we will cover things like Biblical manhood and womanhood , sexuality, and how the gospel sets us free from a distorted view of God’s original design.

JANUARY SERIES

Welcome to 2023. It's the new year, new you, but what is stealing your identity? God has created us in such specific ways. Every human is made in the image of God. Something is pulling us away from that image, even to the point where we may not believe in God. It's vital to learn who our maker is so we can figure out how He has made us and what he has made us for. We all have a unique identity, yet the world seems to distract or steal away who God made us to be. The more we look to the world, the more we lose sight of who God created us to be. Our perceived desires and needs often keep us from discovering our identity in Christ, so this is what we will be looking at over the month of January.

DECEMBER SERIES

As we try to put more emphasis on teaching out of the old testament this year, we will look back to a precise picture and prophesies about the coming Messiah. As we step into this Christmas season, we want the students to understand the absolute need for a Savior for Emanuel. As we look at Isaiah’s prophecy, we will see how accurate it is and in line with how Jesus took on the punishment we deserve. We will break the text into five sections, within two weeks, describing Jesus as the Father’s perfect servant.

NOVEMBER SERIES

Dirty laundry begins to pile up and becomes nasty smelly and maybe even crusty (ewwww) ... Dirty Laundry is just like hidden sin. It grows, piles up, and begins to start stinking. It's often easier to hide away our sins in the moment, but this will leave us feeling nasty just like that dirty pile of laundry. That hidden sin will begin to seep out and influence the rest of our lives, maybe even those around us. Covering up sin will never bring healing and redemption to our lives. It's only when we uncover the nasty sin we will be cleansed from it.

OCTOBER SERIES

The Bible outlines many ethical principles that people who claim the name of Jesus should follow as they pursue God, love one another and interact with the world. Unfortunately, despite the amount of instruction the Bible has to offer, many Christians often find themselves hypocritically doing the exact opposite of what Gods word teaches when it comes to “walking the walk and talking the talk”. What would it look like if we actually started to live out the Christian ethics we claim to believe?

Over the course of this 3-week series, we will be studying the Christian ethics specifically outline in Romans 12:9-21 and learning what it looks like to practically live them out.

SEPTEMBER SERIES

There is no greater encounter than an encounter with Jesus. There are many stories in the new testament that tell of amazing encounters that individuals had with Jesus. In this two-week series, we will look at two individuals who had encounters with Jesus and had no idea how he would not only change their purpose, but change their eternity. The first week will look at the women at the well from John chapter 4. In the second week, we will examine Paul's encounter in Acts 9.
